Remarkably, Vigan City, Ilocos Sur is one of 28 finalists in the search for the New7Wonders. However, on July 7, 2014, the number will be trimmed down to 21 then further cut to a tight number of 14 come October 7, 2014. The winning 7 will be formally announced later on Dec. 7, 2014.
