The grandiose Manila Hotel was formally established in 1912 and remodeled in the 1970s. It is a well-known Philippine landmark ideal for intimate gatherings and often home to historical events.

The hotel is ideally located in the heart of Manila, just adjacent to the walled-city of Intramuros. Other nearby cultural attractions include Rizal Park, Fort Santiago, National Museum of the Philippines and the Cultural Center of Philippines Complex. Modern destinations comprise of the Manila Ocean Park and SM Super Malls.
The hotel has several restaurants guests can choose from namely Cafe Ilang-Ilang, Champagne Room and Mabuhay Palace. Non-hotel guests can dine here as well.
We had our dinner at the beautifully-decorated Champagne Room.

|How to get here: It is fairly easy to find the hotel. Best option and most convenient is if you have private vehicle. If commuting, best to take the metered taxi. Manila Hotel is just adjacent to the Intramuros, before the Eva Macapagal Port Terminal. For first-timers in Manila, you may utilize the very helpful Google maps.|
