Our second night in the best beach in the world was spent in the nearly two year old Agos Boracay.

Yummy Choc-nut and frozen towels to battle off the summer heat
Though not a beach front hotel, it has its advantages as it is accessible from the main road. A five minute walk from D’mall and under ten minutes from White Beach, the hotel has a lovely staff which we find all very accommodating.

Overlooking the garden area
As a nature-lover, I truly liked the garden area of the hotel as lush foliage, though a bit unkempt in our visit, greeted us upon our arrival. The greens were a soothing change to Boracay’s crowded beach. It gave off the hotel a serene and peaceful environment.
Our room was located at the highest floor overlooking parts of the sea and white beach area. Ate Grace, one of the staff, was very bubbly. We immediately felt at home with her candor. Her receiving attitude helped eased down the humid feeling as it was one hot afternoon. She showed us to our room and constantly reminded us of the nice views out the window. We truly appreciate her positive attitude and that’s what the kind of service tired vacationers are looking for.
Currently, the hotel has a total of 28 rooms. Varying from superior rooms, deluxe rooms, family rooms and family rooms with a view. We were able to lounge in the airy family room view with a glimpse of the seas on both sides. I got to stay in the loft as I was the only girl in our group. Thanks to my cool guy friends.

As expected, all rooms are properly equipped with the basics of a home such as air-con, ceiling fan, cable TV, refrigerator, hot and cold shower. Bottled water and toiletries are also complimentary. The resort can also assist you in arranging activities such island-hopping. They also offer 1-way or round trip door-to-door airport transfers.
Our room was on the fourth floor. If I was not working out I am sure I would have huffed and puffed on my way up. But then that little exercise was rewarded with a rush of fresh air. It leads to an open area, a roof/viewing deck. If you get bored watching TV, you can just step out and admire the kite-flying activities which can be seen from Bulabog beach.
Since Boracay is one of the most popular beach-destinations in the country already offering an array of activities, staying for two or three nights would definitely be short. Agos Boracay Resort offers weekly and monthly rates, depending on the season, for the ultimate beach-lover. Just like me!
It was my home in the best island in the world. Though most travelers would prefer to choose a place to stay which is right on the beach, Agos Boracay’s homey ambience and amiable staff made the our stay much nicer to remember.Do consider staying at Agos Boracay Resort for your short Boracay retreat or for your all-out summer vacation. * You can get 10% discount for a minimum of two-nights stay when you book directly to the hotel.
