I spent my college years in downtown Manila. But my memories of it and its surrounding areas were mostly not pleasant.
Pollution. Street vendors. Traffic jam all the time. Pickpocketers. Name it.
Having travelled to more developed countries like Mainland China and Korea has made me wishing more for my dear Philippines. From their transportation system to their quality of life, I was almost always frustrated whenever I deplane in Manila from my trips abroad.
I couldn’t help but compare my country’s state. Anyway, I will just make this blog short. Here are a few photos and a short clip I shot when we visited. After admiring the new Lagusnilad, my friends and I took a short walk inside the walled city and had an early dinner at Cafe 1919.
